[TYPO3-UG US] Modern Template Building, Part 1 (MTB/1)

Thanks I am looking into that now. Here is one thing which I find extremely confusing and disheartening about typo website. I go to
typo3.org, and then to extensions I type in GoLive, and it brings me to a page listing all the extensions dealing with golive. I
Click the appropriate one, and go into more details. The details talk about "This tutorial takes a simple page made with GoLive. It
ships in a zip-file with this tutorial or can be downloaded from somewhere near..."

Yes no where near or far can I find that. I login to my typo admin go to extension manager, and try to do a search online to import
it, and nothing comes back. So where can I find the downloads for these extensions once I get to the appropriate detail page?

Hello Chris,

I started with the GoLive tutorial, that might be a better place to start, at least just to review. It provides a lot of the
concepts that the MTB manual is based on but doesn't explain. Once you review the GoLive tutorial, the TypoScript By Example manual
does a better job of explaining how and where to use TypoScript and leading you through setting up a template than the MTB.

Hope this helps!

the 1.2.5 Basics of "Setup-field" instructions section, and things start going downhill. And I am crawling through the remainder of
the document.

difficult to get through and understand.
