Hi Chris - yes, it was really nice to meet you, Michaela and Bastian.

To be honest, I'm not sure if the Australian TYPO3 mailing list is the
best place for your questions. Don't get me wrong: I do not have a
problem with your questions, it's the amount of readers :-)

You can find some details and statistics about salary in Australia at
job sites like:

http://mycareer.com.au (section "Salary")
http://www.seek.com.au (section "Salary, Advice & Tips")
(and others)

Something between 70k (Web Development) and 90k (Programmer) is
realistic but depends on experience, company, company size,
specialisation, etc.

Again - this has nothing to do with TYPO3. In general: health insurance
depends on your visa if you are not an Australian citizen. Tax depends
on your income but is less than in Germany. Superannuation ("Rente" in
German) is 9% of your income (conditions apply).

...depends on the location (state, city, suburb and distance to CBD) and
condition as well as type of property (house, unit, etc) :-)

For more information visit: http://www.realestate.com.au

I assume you get more useful information at expats forums like:

http://forum.australien-info.de (German)
http://www.australien-forum.de (German)
http://www.deutscheinmelbourne.net (German)
http://www.expatsaustralia.com

Cheers
Michael
