You should read "Frontend Localization manual" document on typo3.org. This mailing list is for translators, who translate TYPO3 files into dufferent languages. It is not for editors, who want to translate their content.

If you read the above mentioned document and still have questions about setting up a multilingual web site, you should ask in English list.
