[TYPO3-translators] Translation of extensions: how to proceed?

I have installed successfully the extension but there are several  
packages that are not upgrade, so that I can't proceed.
Moreover I ask you if the ll-xml extensions work similar to cvs  
(detecting only the differences). Otherwise It could be dangerouse the  
overwriting for each translation because the result will be not  
accurated.
