At first, Karsten only said he was unsure of the quality. And I agree
strongly. Have used Aspell in some project, and had to drop it because of
quality of the Norwegian dictionaries. Had to save about 30 - 40 % as new
words. Then it's faster to do it the old way. And Aspell or Ispell isn't
always easy to get working. Even the spellcheckers in Word and Open Office
haven't good enough quality (In Norwegian they have about a 20 - 40 % error
rate, mostly wrong hypenation). Today I'm using a commercial solution (the
official Norwegian dictionary) to really check words. Cost my about € 150 a
year, and it's worth all of it. Give me about 145 000 Norwegian words and
synonyms with their exact meaning in different relations and also ability to
translate to and from english. I only use a double click on a word to check
it. Also remember, automatic spellchecking can't solve problems where slight
difference in word has big difference in meaning.

But build in the opportunity to do spellchecking isn't any bad idea, but I
wouldn't give it high priority. And the spellcheckers do need better quality
before 

But as long time writer of academic articles, large official reports and
other kind of papers, I also know that the only way to get rid of
mispelling, wrong use of word is to be more than one person to check it
manually. Especially when translating are a bit of it.
