[TYPO3-translators] Questions regarding localization of sytem extensions

Hi,

I have two questions regarding localization of sytem extensions.

I understand that all localized labels of system extensions have been 
moved from the locallang files of the extensions to the TYPO3 language 
packs.

Question 1: If a new version of a system extension is published on TER 
and installed as global or local extension, will the localization still 
work?

Question 2: What happens if new labels are introduced in some locallang 
file of the extension? Would these be temporarily localized in the 
extension files until the next release of TYPO3?
