Hi Tolleiv,

i worked on your splitted classes and will post a new patch soon.
The idea is great and allows a very specific render handling which is 
flexible too.

In general i changed from array to one registered function, imho it make 
no sense to allow passing through all registered render functions. If 
you override the render class than it's the one used.
