[TYPO3-hci] icons in t3skin

Hi,

I am currently trying to sort out the pagetree icon stuff a bit, but I am running into problems.

In general, I am asking myself (and you) how much information can be communicated by an icon.
We have status icons for
h: hidden
t: timing (not visible anymore)
- futuretiming
- user
- protectedSection, i.e. extend to subpages is set (still unsure which properties are effected)

In the worst case this means that we have to place FOUR little overlays on (currently) 18x16 which leaves the main icon
itself next to unrecognizable and causes a lot of noise in the pagetree. Things become really bad if the original icon
already has a symbol (e.g. external url, mountpoint or shortcut). Currently we need 23 versions of an icon, see the
attached screenshot for an overview.

So how can we reduce this:
If a page is hidden, do we then need information about user and timing? I personally say 'NO!'
If a page is not visible anymore due to timing, do we then need to be informed about users? I personally say 'NO!'.
In both cases it is enough to hover over the icon to see more detailed information.

While we are flooded with superfluous information there, we are unable to find out whether a scheduled page is currently
visible, because the clock always looks the same. I encountered this problem yesterday with one of our editors:
Whe wondered why two of her CEs were not visible on a page where every CE is scheduled. Reason: Erroneously wrong end
date set, but all icons looked the same.

Perhaps we can do something like this:

1) If a page is not visible anymore let us have a clock with red background and white hands to make it similar to
hidden. No more information needed.
2) If a page is currently visible we use a clock with green background.
    Information about user needed.
3) If a page will only be visible in the future we use the current clock: red frame, white background, black hands.
