In my opinion the close button should not be red. I think the only icon
which should be emphasized using a different color overlay should be the
delete button, because clicking it initiates the most dramatic changes.

Using visual dividers others then whitespace is fine with me, though I
prefere thiner lines.

Rearranging the save buttons is also fine with me, because I think
important is to group them, but not the order within the group.

Me too, looks much better to me.
