I don't quote your post.
A short answer: It has been discussed in a lot of the others post. And i
fully agree with you. Better usability shouldn't be at the cost of TYPO3's
tremendous functionality. And reading other posts in this list, I don't
think anybody want to drop functionality. But if it should happend, I suppose
I'm being one of the first people to drop TYPO3.
But either you are a developer, administrator or end-user, it's possible
to make the backend better.
To me it not so important to make TYPO3 the most newbie friendly CMS out
there. In doing so, we will only move the "brick wall" to another point.
TYPO3 will always be a demanding system to people who want to learn it. But
we can get rid of the uneccessary hurdles on the way, and make a learning
curve who are challenging and possible.
