Hello,

I am about to develop a webshop with TYPO3. The webshop will display
german, english and russian texts.

In the development cycle it is possible to ENTER russian text together with
german and english text. As soon as the template is displayed (to prove
correctness), the following happens:
- The german / english and russian text is displayed correctly (Front-end
view)
- Being back in the template forms (to continue developing the template)
each russian character is represented by a code like „#nnnn;“ where nnnn
corresponds to the hexadecimal codes of its UTF8 representation.

INSTALLATION:
- Typo3 4.1.1
- Russian and english language loaded (language modules)
- SuSE Linux 10.2 (incl. all updates)
- echo $LANG ---> "de_DE.UTF8"
- Apache 2.2.x

Which parameters need to be set to also have russian letters reppresented /
displayed correctly in the developing cycles of templates?

Thank you in advance
Best regards

Dieter
