just in case you're wondering how much stuff we changed/removed:

$ git diff --stat TYPO3_4-5-0..TYPO3_4-6-0
[...]
3081 files changed, 138579 insertions(+), 165907 deletions(-)

This makes 27328 lines less in 4.6 than in 4.5. Wow. This is 5% of
TYPO3 in total (according to phploc statistics). Just as a rough
estimation on how much work was done... And we also touched quite a
massive amount of the 510k lines we have in the project.


So Xavier, thank you for such an amazing release - and also thanks to
all community members who contributed to this massive amount of changes!
