Yes, the pending documentation wasn't updated after the 4.4 release.
Francois decided to do it "all at once" as soon as 4.5 is released (due
to lack of time / manpower / etc), which is why there is no
documentation updated for 4.4.

Hopefully and I am pretty confident that the doc-team will take care of
it, we will see up-to-date docs very shortly after the 4.5 release.

If you find missing changes in Pending_Documentation, please update the
wiki page or get in touch with the doc team, as mentioned by Steffen
already.
