I never liked niceText anyways. If a TrueType version of a font doesn't 
render nicely, often the Type1 version will. OpenType fonts can cause 
problems with diacriticals in some cases.

Back to your real problem :-) Are you sure that the ImageMagick version 
hasn't changed, or that your hoster now uses GraphicsMagick? This 
requires some different settings in the install tool.
