[TYPO3-mvc] "Pagination and SQL statement"

Dear all members,

I am aware that the pagination widget won't work with the custom 
repository query with the SQL statement. But still I would like to know 
if someone has already have some workaround. This is needed because 
there are some complex queries and the result needs pagination e.g. with 
GROUP BY  etc.
