[TYPO3-mvc] Infinite loop validation although dontvalidate is set

Dear all,

hoping someone can help my confusion :)

I have a createAction with @dontvalidate $object set which calles an
updateAction _without_ dontvalidate.

Looking at some posts here in the mailing list it should be fine to set
dontvalidate this way and it should work.

But it results in #1217839467 101 iterations exception.

So obviously the dontvalidate annotation is ignored?!

Trying to set dontvalidate the other way round or with both actions
always ends up with that same exact error.

Any hints are appreciated :)
