Oh sorry, I was reading too fast.... Of course I am not accessing it in the Model, but in the controller and the template. Why would you like to access this data in the Model? This does not make much sense for me. If you need the data persistent than you can save it in the model by adding a field to it. Business logic should go into the controller...
