[TYPO3-ttnews] Difference between "tx_ttnews[news]" and "tx_ttnews[cat]"

Hello,

What is the difference between the two values I see in the URL :
  - tx_ttnews[news]=6
  - tx_ttnews[cat]=6

They seems to do the same, but I don't know how to work with them in TS ?

Any clue ?
