[TYPO3-ttnews] RSS channel.link not configurable

Hi list!

It seems that the field link in a RSS feed can NOT be set via: 
plugin.tt_news.displayXML.xmlLink = {$someOfMyConstVars}

It always is generated from the URL the RSS is generated from.
so if I get it via http://www.xyz.com/rss it is http://www.xyz.com
and if I get it via http://www.xyz.de/rss it is http://www.xyz.de.

But I need a pssibility to configure it by hand.

Has anybody had the same problem and found a workaround?
Or am I missing a config parameter?
