[TYPO3-timtab] pagebrowser is missing

Hello all,

I'm using timtab for a blog and everything works fine, but now I've
found a problem when the number of blogentry increases.
I'm able to restrict them to a certain number within the flexform config
of the tt_news plugin. But if I set this limit 
"Limit: max items for LIST and LATEST" to 5,  there are only 5 entries
and no pagebrowser is visible as known from tt_news.
goooglin leads me to the advice that there no Markers for the
Pagebrowser in the template so I've inserted this to the tt_news.tmpl
from the connection theme:

 <div class="news-list-browse">###BROWSE_LINKS###</div>

just before:
 <!-- ###CONTENT###  end -->

But still nothing happens :-(
Do I miss something to configure in TS?

BTW: There is no tick with the option: 
"Don't display Pagebrowser in LIST" so this shouldn't be the problem.
