As Thomas explained in another thread:

Yes it is! tx_timtab_type=1 means the the comment came into the guestbook
through a trackback. I'm not sure if trackbacks can be disabled!?

So my question is how to disable or get rid of the trackback functionality 
as long as comment spam is possible?
