[TYPO3-timtab] Help on categories and how about a t3d-export?

Hi Maik,
I didn't want to open a new thread for the same issue. But in order to 
have the smart guys answer, please use a more descriptive subject next time.

And yeah I'm a bit upset too. My categories weren't links either and all 
categories of the whole tree showed up as well no matter what I did (the 
things I knew from tt_news). So what I'm doing now, is using the catmenu 
from tt_news (plugin.tt_news.displayCatMenu.mode = tree instead of 
timtab). The only drawback is that you don't have the number of tems per 
category (perhaps a new feature for tt_news).

But the thing I'm upset about. These categories didn't work with any 
theme I tried on a new Typo3 installation. I see Ingo Renner's Blog 
working with all features except Calender. And I see nice, clean blogs 
like http://www.kenia-facts.de/blog.

Isn't there anybody who can provide a t3d-export with all features up 
and running? That way newbies can focus on incorporating blogs into 
their existing designs. Instead they're struggling to get it to work at all.
