Me neither :-)

If I needed an absolute URL for one purpose and the relative URL which 
is normally stored, I'd add an dynamic field to the index which contains 
the absolute URL.

In the configuration of of the site that needs the absolute URLs you can 
set in the rendering instruction part that the URL marker is to be 
filled with the field that contains the absolute URL.
Easy to set up, requires one time re-indexing and doesn't cost 
performance at search time...
