[TYPO3-rte] Setting up personal and custom dictionaries

What version of TYPO3 are you using?

Is the personal dictionary created? Have a look in directory 
uploads/tx_rtehtmlarea/. The personal dictionary should be in 
subdirectory BE_[uid of user].

You could add terms to the Aspell English dictionary. I never tried it, 
but this article tells how this could be done when the server is Ubuntu.
