[TYPO3-rte] creating acronym: block element deleted

hi list

after having spent hours to understand and to correctly configure 
"acronym" there remains a problem which i can't solve:

when i create an acronym around a block element, the acronym is 
inserted, but the block element gets _deleted_:

block element --> <acronym title:"xyz"></acronym> instead of
                	  <acronym title:"xyz">block element</acronym>


when i create the acronym-tag in the html-editor, everything works fine, 
gets into the db and is shown correctly in FE.

there is also no problem in changing an existing acronym or deleting, 
just during the creation in the default editor window.

so there seems to be nothing wrong with the configuration of allowTags, 
but only with the editor (rtehtmlarea version 1.8.9)
