[TYPO3-RTE] Title-tag for images from another field (DAM)

Hello Stanislas,

did you insert the line in pageTs or userTs? I tried both with no success.

Where exactly shall I have a look in the Object Browser?

Could it be that tt_content.... overwrites this value? I had the a look in
the Object Browser and I found something like tt_content....caption =
imagecaption. I have the impression that this value overwrites the value
(RTE.default.buttons.image.title.useDAMColumn = title) of the RTE.

Hello,

I do not know where I can check my RTE-settings in the TypoScript Object
Browser.

I just retested it again and I only get the text from the dam-field: caption
(default settings). This worked fine.

I entered this line RTE.default.buttons.image.title.useDAMColumn = title the
following way.
Root-page-> Edit page propterties -> options.

Maybe there is a spelling mistake but I can not find it.

It should work. I just re-tested it (with TYPO3 and DAM trunks). Check 
the inherited value in Page TSConfig with the TypoScript Object Browser 
selecting the page where you insert the image.

If you select the image and click on the image button or on the "Image 
properties" in the context menu, you get a window with all the 
properties of the image.
The title should also be rendered in the frontend with the value of the 
description field (unless this may be broken or overridden by some other 
extension).
