[TYPO3-RTE] Using the RTE in a custom backend module

Hello,

I've made an extension with a backend module (in Web) and want to use 
the RTE in it. I found an old (2004) mailinglist entry about this 
(http://lists.netfielders.de/pipermail/typo3-dev/2004-December/007217.html), 
but that doesn't seem to work anymore and wasn't a nice solution in the 
first place.

So my question is: can this be done? If so, how?
