[TYPO3-RTE] Switch off automatic link detection

Hi there,

I need to find a way to shorten long URLs entered in RTE 
(www.test.com/123/456/789/index.php -> www.test.com/.../index.php)

Does anyone know how to switch off RTE's automatic link detection? When 
typing text like www.test.com I don't want RTE to link that text 
automatically - I want to do that manually (so I can shorten the URL but 
the new shortened URL is not automatically linked again).
