[TYPO3-RTE] Trimming of empty Paragraphs

Hello typos, hello Stanislas,

I found that empty paragraphs at the end of a content element are 
trimmed off when saving. Even entering one   does not prevent this.
But entering two (!)   prevents the paragraph from being deleted:
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Is there a way to change this behavior? I could not find anything about 
it in the docs or in this group.

Actually I would like to switch the trimming off altogether, as my users 
tend to enter empty paragraphs by purpose to create a gap to the next 
content element.
