[TYPO3-RTE] New acronym feature

Hm - I dont think so. It is a good addition to the automatic replacement 
methods because you can use it to replace single terms which have a 
different meaning on other pages.
I understand the acronym records to be replaced automatically so if the 
acronym would be stored there it would be replaced everywhere, wouldn't it?

Yes, you can use it this way. But we need it to add the lang-Attribute 
to be helpfull.
