[TYPO3-RTE] Need a starting point... RTE diff. between IE and FF

Good morning,

could pls. someone give me a starting point?

I found big differences between creating a text-content element using IE
and FF. Using IE, the created text gets a CSS-Klass. When using FF the
element gets an inline style!

Could someone tell where to start to let both browsers generate the same
formatting? Where does the RTE distinguish between browsers?
