[TYPO3-RTE] rtehtmlarea & custom tags

I've tried the extension and at first my only problem is that there's a 
difference with the IE RTE, CT throw a 404 when you try to use the icon 
in the rtehtmlarea:

"The requested URL /typo3cvs/typo3/sysext/rtehtmlarea/mod1/popup.php was 
not found on this server.”

Is it rtehtmlarea that causes that error or CT ?
