[TYPO3-RTE] extra classes in Text: <span>

Hi

I using TYPO3 vers. 3.8 and RTEHTMLarea vers. 1.1.6
My settings:
Default configuration settings: Typical
Enable images in the RTE: 1
Enable Mozilla/Firefox extension: 0
Force Aspell command mode: 0
Enable troubleshooting mode: 0
Enable compressed scripts: 1


In the editor it is possible to assign a <span> to a text part.--> <span 
class="important"></span> or <span class="name-of-person"></span> or 
<span class="detail"></span>

I have notice that I can change the CSS for those classes.

My question:
Is it possible to rename "important" to something else e.g. "whitecolor" 
so it will show up in the dropdown list or even better: is it possible 
to add classes to the dropdown list? If so, could anyone tell me how??
