I've got similar problem but I use rtehtmlarea. I would like to insert video (youtube/vimeo) into article in tx_news plugin. I have TYPO3 7.6.4.

I've enabled records.useFal option to FAL + Multimedia in tx_news settings. I've set new youtube link in Video & Audio block in article Relations tab. I see that when I use "Show in preview views" chceckbox then youtube video appears on top right corner in article but I would like to put it in any position I want.
And now I don't know what to do with that further.

I would be greatfull for any help on this. Thanks.
