[TYPO3-l10nmgr] Status of v4

Just to make myself clear ;-) The trunk has been more active lately than 
the v4 branch. So I'm wondering whether v4 is something serious or if 
it's a failed attempt.

I'm almost sure I'll need to patch some stuff. I can hack away in my 
little corner, but I would rather contribute patches - as long as it 
makes sense. Thus I would like to know whether I should be hacking at v3 
or v4.
