[TYPO3-project-formidable] Lister with edit buttons

Hi!!

I need to make a PI that display a LIST of records.
Every records have an EDIT button.
When the user clicks on one of the EDIT buttons, the PI displays a form 
to edit the relative record.

My question is:
should I follow the ameos_t3con06 example or is there a more updated way 
to achieve this?
