[TYPO3-project-formidable] Userdefined CSS on input tags

Hi all,

and happy new year everyone!

How can I use userdefined CSS classes on HTML input fields? I found the 
following example in the manual [1]:

{my_renderlet_name.input}<br />
<span style="color: red;">{my_renderlet_name.label}</span>

but this doesn't allow me to directly style the label resp. input tag 
itself. I can't use the standard id that looks as follows because of the 
brackets:

tx_extensionname_pi1_common[input_name]
