Hi Daniel,

> Are you still using wiki.typo3.org as a "main source"?

It depends what you mean by "main source". For all topics covered by the
official documentation on docs.typo3.org, then, no, the wiki is not the
"main source". All such content should be either removed or at least
marked as obsolete in the wiki.

For many other topics, the wiki is still an official resource. Many
pages have no equivalent elsewhere.

Just do it :-)

Seriously, though, some parts of the wiki are really actively used, so
restructuring is welcome but should be done carefully.

Sure, sounds good. However I must admit that I don't know how much
structure can be given to the wiki. Last time I looked at the Mediawiki
engine, structuring possibilities were very limited, essentially a
categorisation system. But that was a long time ago, so maybe there are
now other possibilities.

Yes, the situation with Extbase/Fluid is extremely frustrating IMO (and
other areas too). It is used more and more but proper, official and -
most importantly - up to date information is not available. I know that
an effort had been started by the Extbase team, but I don't know where
it stands. Try getting in touch with Anja.

Ideally documentation should be supplied as an official manual. There is
a Git repository ready to receive stuff for Extbase (or FAL). So
checking out those repos and working there would be the way to go,
although since they are both rather empty for now, the overall structure
should be discussed first.

Anyway whether you want to clean up the wiki or contribute to some
official manual, we definitely appreciate help. If you want to start
some big work, please present your plan in this mailing list first, so
that we can choose a wise direction.

Cheers
