I meant it in a slightly different way: if a page is not available in a 
version (e.g. 
http://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/TyposcriptReference/Functions/Strpad/Index.html 
is not available for 6.0 (or other versions once they are rendered)), 
the version number should still appear in the list, but without a link 
and maybe a different styling to indicate that it doesn't exist.
That would make clear that, although the documentation is rendered for a 
number of versions, the particular page is not available.

For Strpad:

6.1 <-- link
6.0 <-- no link
4.7 <-- no link (once rendered)
<-- no other versions of the documentation rendered.
