[TYPO3-doc] Updating version in documentation

In such a scenario, saying "server side" is a bit dangerous, because 
there are several servers involved ;-)

I was definitely talking about doing something like you mention and it 
would happen on the documentation rendering server (which is 
docs.typo3.org). The conf.py file is used only for rendering the 
documentation, so it's really okay if it's updated on the fly and not up 
to date in the extension's repository, for example. The only issue you 
might have is if you render your manual locally, it may have the wrong 
version number, unless you edit the conf.py file manually in this case. 
This seems like a minor drawback in this case.
