Hi Elmar,

>a) I would than start with updating the wiki, to faciliate peoples orientation.
>b) I would try to autogenerate a sphinx documentation (about sphinx documentation in T3) from the wiki content.

There's a better way to start at the moment:

- grab the OfficialManual as a starter
- push that to a public Git machine like Github or Bitbucket or so
- let me know about the url of your git repository and the title
and the type (guide, tutorial, reference ...) or what you're
writing.

I then need a few minutes to setup some script and from then on we
have a link on docs.typo3.org where we can request a new rendering
of your writings on docs.typo3.org/.../drafts/YourTitle

About the tool that would grab wiki stuff:

My OpenOffice to ReST parser actually is a OpenOffice XHTML to
ReST parser. So it's quite easy to make that grab and convert
existing web pages. Actually I tried that with the Wiki already.
It worked but wasn't worth the effort.

It's much easier to read the wiki and use copy and paste to
transport relevant content to the document to be written.

>c) I would meet with Martin Bless in Münster, to get a deeper insight into the current infrastructure.

Nice idead, but not possible due to lack of time. Let's do that at
a TYPO3 event in a larger circle. I'm afraid the next possibility
will be the Developer Days in July.

Sail on ...
