The Forge project's home stays the same:
http://forge.typo3.org/projects/typo3v4-official_extension_template/

While working on the migration, I have also revamped (deeply) the content in a way I found more
helping, not only for extension developers but also towards editors / administrators / decision-makers.

I also kept in mind to have a cross standard btw Phoenix / TYPO3 and I was glad to talk to Christian
and get his input about that.

The latest idea I have introduced is to have a Readme.rst (at the root of the extension) included in
the documentation generation. The purpose of Readme is to provide a glimpse into the extension and I
was thinking of developers that are putting their extensions on Github (or equivalent). These
platforms display Readme file by default as an entry point.

On the top of that, I have started a Wiki page to collect reST editors recommendation:
http://wiki.typo3.org/Editors_%28reST%29 . Feel free to contribute. I have added a "vote" column to
give an idea of the popularity.

@Martin you may want to add your suggestion.

On the "editor" topic, I made recently a very good experience with Sublime Text [1] that I am
recommending. PyCharm works fine but is more meant for Python code programming and is more a "gas
factory" for just reST files. Sublime Text is a commercial software but can be used without purchase
with a warning message to bear every x times upon saving...

Cheers,

Fabien
