There's actually one topic which I forgot to mention. It seems that 
quite some people (few of which only are taking contact here |-( ) want 
the documentation to be available via typo3.org and not some separate 
sub-domain. I maintain that our next step is still to have a fully 
working separate site/server, but if anyone is available to work on some 
sort of integration with typo3.org, you are more than welcome.

Ideas so far:

- use a plugin to display JSON output from the documentation server 
containing the rendered HTML (this is done with FLOW3 on flow3.typo3.org 
and Xavier has also made such a TYPO3 plugin).
- keep a separate site, but use a proxy to make its URLs based on 
typo3.org (recent proposal by Fabien who uses this for api.typo3.org).
