That's definitely the kind of thing I had mind. Actually I'm using 
Disqus on my personal web site, but it would be good to have more 
control on the comments (especially as regards to storage). This Juvia 
project could be interesting. The main drawback IMO is that it runs on 
Rails and we are rather a PHP community. I have nothing against Rails, 
but it means we have less skills in this area in our community, although 
Forge is powered by Redmine which also uses Rails. And we're already 
diversifying into Python with Sphinx.

Of course it would be nicer to have a system based on our new 
technologies, i.e. FLOW3, but it means developing something ourselves 
and we may not have the resources.
