Can be important for some installations. Without a proper default from 
address TYPO3 tries to come up with an address which might pass 
validation, but may not be accepted by an SMTP server.

Would probably safe us a load of bug reports about failing system emails 
if this setting is properly filled.

Maybe a quick mention? If people don't know that possibilities exist 
they won't use them and just complain about the left,normal,right,border 
columns which they don't need.
