[TYPO3-dam] DAM media links not displayed in one domain

Hi,

A mysterious situation:

|- () www.domain.tld
|- () intranet.domain.tld
-- [1] media (hidden)

The usual DAM extensions are installed. In normal text content elements 
inside the RTE field links are made to DAM records (e.g. PDF files).
In the database these contain nice <media> tags.
In the www.domain.ltd part the links are correctly displayed and linked 
to the file belonging to the DAM record.
In the intranet.domain.ltd tree the titles of the DAM files are simply 
not linked.

In the admin panel a series of errors is visible:
tx_dam_tsfemediatag->typolink(): File '' (1430) did not exist, so 
'webmail' was not linked.

The record with uid 1430 exists and the associated file also exists. 
This error seems to originate from the check $media->isAvailable in 
tx_dam_tsfemediatag::typoLink()

Any ideas why this happens in only one of the domains?
