[TYPO3-dam] "Indexing date" issues

I was looking into the selection query generation for 9830, and the code 
is beyond illogical.  I think you're going to have a lot of trouble 
adding more options like greater than, less than, etc.

You might be able to modify the specific function that compiles the 
where clause of the query for the indexing run. That's what had to 
happen for 9830. Let me know if you want to know more.
