[TYPO3-dam] Writing meta data into a file

Good morning,

i just have a little question: is it possible to write meta data into  
e.g. a JPEG-File ?

Example: i would like to output a smaller Version of a JPEG in the  
Frontend, but i need to put in all the meta data (Copyright, etc.)  
into this file - how can i do this ?
