[TYPO3-dam] DAM Element browser problem - indexing?

Hey,

I have the same problem with typo3 4.2.0 over here.

Wprkaround is to go in the settings of dam and set "Enable Web>File" to
active and then use the "good old" fileadmin.

I have a problem with the DAM Element Browser.
If I have folder which some files are uploaded to, then I cannot see the 
  files with DAM Element Browser until they have been indexed.
So what the DAM Element Browser sees is only the reflection of what has 
been indexed.
Any solution to this, besided reindexing?
Can I disable the DAM Element Browser somehow?
