[TYPO3-dam] Announce: typo3-team-dam is now a public list

Dear list,

'typo3-team-dam' is now a public list. By making this list public,  
more eyes, hands and voices can be on it. This is good for the DAM.  
The list is publicly visible on http://lists.netfielders.de/,  
additionally it can be accessed via the newsserver.


Focus
The focus of the list is to propose, review and approve patches to the  
DAM. At this moment in time to be more specific; 'bug fixes' to the  
trunk and the 1.0.x branches. So right now we are not yet adding new  
'features' to the DAM. Fix bugs first!

For general discussion, please use the 'typo3-project-dam' list. For  
patches please use 'typo3-team-dam'.


Review process
- everyone can post, review or test a fix;
- patches require a positive four-eye review (at least two from a team  
member) before they may be committed;
- only team members may commit reviewed code.

This review process is analogous to the review process of the TYPO3  
core team

When posting a bug report, proposing a patch etc. please keep in mind  
that the bug may be present in the 1.0.x branches as well as in the  
trunk. So please test accordingly. It helps if you have both a 1.0.x  
and a trunk DAM test site.
